A DELTA paper has been accepted at the AIAI2021 Conference.

The paper, entitled: “Short Term Net Imbalance Volume Forecasting through Machine and Deep Learning: A UK case study”, is to be discussed in the context of the Energy Efficiency and Artificial Intelligence (EEAI) Workshop.

The paper will be available under the DELTA publications tab in due course.

EEAI Workshop

Co-ordinated by DELTA project partner CERTH, this workshop addresses how energy management and prosumer empowerment are becoming increasingly important to EU member states. Rather than only focusing on reducing energy usage, the optimisation of local energy production and consumption will play a key role in the EU achieving its climate goals for 2030 and 2050.

The EEAI Workshop will bring together interdisciplinary approaches that focus on the implementation of smart, AI-driven solutions for increasing the energy efficiency of residential and tertiary buildings and of occupant behaviour. The proposed approaches will enable a more sustainable operation of buildings and encourage energy-saving habits among consumers.

More information on this session is available on the EEAI Workshop webpage.

AIAI2021 Conference

The three-day event will take place from the 25th – 27th June 2021. It is the 17th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations to take place.

You can find out more about the conference on the AIAI2021 website.
