On the 12th of May 2021, the DELTA project held its eighth plenary meeting online.

Project members from all over Europe attended the virtual meeting, including partners based in Greece, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Cyprus.

The session involved presentations and comprehensive discussions surrounding a broad range of topics, including the DELTA pilots. Two pilots are due to take place at sites in the UK and Cyprus this summer. They will cover a wide variety of residential/tertiary loads (>11GWh), RES generation (>14GWh), and energy storage systems (>9MWh) (average annual measurements).

Partners were also given a detailed insight into the DELTA framework from end-to-end, exploring the DELTA platform and observing a demonstration of an external demand response request.
