The DELTA solution is tested at pilot sites in both the UK and Cyprus, and pre-piloted at the CERTH/ITI nZEB Smart Home in Greece.
What is the purpose of the pilots?
The UK pilot comprises of two focused pilot sites representing the commercial and residential sectors:
Moor House is a commercial office building located in Central London hosting approximately 4,100 employees and covering a total area of 43,300 m2.
Woodland Grove Estate in Greenwich is a residential estate comprising of 110 residential units distributed over 5 low rise buildings.

Of the 17 tertiary buildings on the University of Cyprus campus, 4 participate in the DELTA pilot:
These 4 buildings represent a heterogenous set of services, functional requirements and user experiences.
Extensive lab-testing prior to the UK and Cypriot pilot is conducted in the nZEB Smart Home in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The CERTH/ITI nZEB Smart Home is a rapid prototyping and novel technologies demonstration infrastructure resembling a real domestic building. As the first Smart near-Zero Energy Building in Greece, it combines enhanced construction materials and intelligent ICT solutions creating a future-proof, sustainable and active testing, validating and evaluating ecosystem.
